Moving MDM platforms, identity providers, or directory services without breaking user workflows is a precision job. I’ve done it multiple times and know where things go wrong.

What I migrate

• Jamf to Fleet — the most common direction for teams moving to GitOps-managed, open-source MDM
• Jamf or Fleet to Microsoft Intune (or vice versa) where Microsoft 365 alignment is the priority
• On-prem Active Directory to Entra ID
• Legacy MDM setups to modern Declarative Device Management
• Any existing MDM to Fleet, Jamf, or Intune — including Workspace One, Kandji, or other tools you’re moving away from

How I approach it

Parallel running of old and new systems until confidence is high. Staged rollout by user group. Rollback plans that actually work. No big-bang cutover unless you genuinely have no choice.

What I need from you

A test group, access to both environments, and honest answers about what’s on the legacy system that can’t appear in the new one.
