👋 About Me
I'm Adam Baali. Apple consultant, part-time mountain dweller.
🏔️ The backstory
I run Mountain Path Consulting from the Vall de Ordino, Andorra. After a decade in the UK supporting and scaling Apple estates across enterprise and government, I started MPC to keep things lean, direct, and hands-on.
🛠️ What I work with
My core stack is Apple and Linux, and the infrastructure that ties them together across mixed fleets. The three MDM platforms I work with: Fleet (my default for teams starting fresh — open source, GitOps-native), Jamf (for established Apple-heavy environments), and Intune (where Microsoft 365 is the anchor). For endpoint visibility: osquery and Fleet OSS, GitOps-managed, with custom query libraries, policies, and compliance reporting built on top.
For identity: Entra ID and Okta for Platform SSO. Teams on other IdPs use XCreds to bridge Apple login without waiting for native Platform SSO support. Zero-touch enrolment and conditional access are standard parts of every build.
I also work across Windows (Autopilot, Intune) and Android (Android Enterprise) when a fleet is genuinely mixed. macOS is the primary focus, but cross-platform is the common case — not the exception.
If it touches an endpoint, a policy, or a query, I've probably worked with it.
🌍 Clients & reach
I work with teams across Europe, the UK, and the Middle East, and I’m flexible on hours to support East Coast US or Gulf based teams.
I speak English and French fluently. Catalan is still in early beta, stay tuned.
🎒 Outside the screen
When I’m not in a terminal window, I’m out chasing snow, riding mountain trails, or hiking through the Pyrenees. I like clean systems, strong coffee, and maps that lead somewhere interesting.
